Founded by Shabbir Kazmi AIA, NCARB. Licensed Architect. Received a bachelor of
Science degree and a professional degree in Architecture in 1993 and
1994, respectively, from the Catholic University of America, Washington
DC.
Prior to founding kAzmi designs, Shabbir worked in
association with award winning Architecture and Interior firms such as
Arquitectonica, Costas Kondylis and Partners, Kondylis Design and
Hillier Group. With 15 years of experience in Washington DC area, New
York tri-state area and Florida, he amassed a variety of experience on
projects ranging from Residential, Mixed-Used Developments, Sports
Facilities, High Rise Condominiums/Office Buildings, Public Schools,
Restaurants and Retail. Shabbir also taught as a visiting faculty
member at Parsons School of Design, Product Design and Pratt Institute,
Interior Design.
